Amazon Web Services#

We're now at the end of the course and it's time to explore Cloud computing. We're going to be looking at Amazon Web Services for this journey. There are other options, such as Azure and GCP, but AWS has the largest market share and it's fine place to start.

AWS has a massive library of products and services. Over 200 products in 2021. We're going to be covering on a handful of the core services. There's really no need to explore every service that AWS has to offer. Infact, close to 95% of what they offer can be safely ignored, today and probably throughout your career. For our needs, or specifically your learning needs, we're going to be looking primarily at AWS' IaaS services, such as EC2. We'll explore RDS as well. But we're keeping it simple.
